This beachfront bungalow was fully transformed into a mid-century inspired getaway for a busy city couple. Being part of the art and literature world, these clients desired a specific aesthetic; Simple, clean and warm.
An organic quality was added to the home with the incorporation of the original white oak floors, and a simple honed Black Absolute granite fireplace. The open floor plan fills the space with natural light, forming a bright, modern feel that showcases the clients’ personal collection of mid-century modern furnishings, books and art.
